Happy Valentine’s Day! Hope all of your day is filled with warm and fuzzy feelings. And to the single gals, take a moment and appreciate yourself, what you have accomplished and how far you have come!! Treat yourself to a little something like I suggested HERE. Today’s post is very special and personal. This Friday will be my 5 year wedding anniversary with hubby and I want to do a post walking down memory lane of our special day as a dedication.
I posted last week on my Instastory and Snap asking people whether they wanted to see photos from my wedding day and a large response said “Yes”. These photos are actually pretty private and not seen by many besides our close group of friends and family. So to memorialize our 5 year anniversary, I am posting a few selection from our wedding reception. And for privacy purposes, hubby will remain anonymous 🙂
We had our ceremony and reception at the Montage Beverly Hills and I personally designed everything from the ceremony alter to the entrance gateway. My favorite flower is orchids and I just had to have all of my center pieces made from an array of orchids. With a very talented team of lighting and floral specialist, photographers and wedding coordinator, we made all of this magic happen within 3 month time…a small miracle considering people literally spend months, even years planning their weddings.
Of course none of this would have happen without the endless support from my husband. In the past 5 years, he has been super patient, loving, supportive. I am fortunate to have such a solid and steady rock. I am by no account a perfect wife, not even close. I am a grab bag of flaws, neurosis and ocd-ness and he accepted all of that with open arms and heart. I see him interact with our kids and he is such a loving and patient dad. This past 5 year went by like a breeze with this amazing person and I am thrilled to keep moving ahead with him.
I have a great dinner at an amazing restaurant planned for us on Friday, follow along on my Instastory and Snap to see where I’m treating him. Plus, I need some help picking out outfits for this special dinner so I’ll also be soliciting advice on Instastory and Snap as well!!
