Happy Friday Everyone!! It is time for Chapter 3 of my Holiday Wonderland, A hHliday Fairy-tale Through Fashion series featuring Top 5 Holiday Dress Trends. New to the series? No worries, here are the inks to Chapter 1 and Chapter 2.
So far we’ve covered Velvet and Lace, sprinkled in with some glitter and ml. In Chapter 3, we are exploring the trend of Slip Dresses and I will show you how to gracefully wear it without looking like you rolled into the party from your bed. Slip Dress have clean lines and sleek silhouette and tends to be the go to choice for minimalist fashionistas and is best paired with equally minimal accessories such as the Choker Necklaces with current crowd favorite Shoulder Duster Earrings to balance out. Since I’ve seen plenty of strappy Dress Heels with slip dresses, I want to switch things up a little and be more trendy, bu styling my slip dress with a pair of lace up ballerina flats. This will make a great conversation starter when you attend a party or event.
Continued from last week. When the girl into another room, she saw a beautiful lady by the window. She looked sadly into the distance searching for something. “That’s the Queen of Satin” whispers the butterflies, and indeed, she had a beautiful blush satin dress on and beautiful necklaces but with no shoes. However, something magical happened, the sparkly shoes the girl took from the Queen of Velvet started to transform into a beautiful pair of ballerina slippers.
The ballerina slippers flew towards the Queen of Satin as if they found their owner. And the minute they flew onto the feet of Queen of Satin, the room lit up and glowed in pink clouds and the queen is freed from her confinement by the window. She is now able to walk down and address the girl. “My sweet girl”, said the Queen of Satin, “You have freed me! To thank you, I can grant you one wish and you may wish for anything you want. What would it be?”
The girl wanted to go back to her world and hurry to her party so she said “Please send me back home, I am running very late for my party.” The queen smiled and said: “Of course, as you wish. But first, I am sending you to a very special party where you will meet a very special person. At the end of the party, he will take you back home.” Curious as she is, the girl agreed as she knew that the Queen of Satin means no harm. To Be Continued….
Hope you guys enjoy the series so far and please stay tuned next week for more!
