Here in LA, the last Sunday of January is Free Museum Day where every museum in Los Angeles is free admission. What better place than LACMA where I am a member of to spend a great weekend? One can always find inspirations from the art installations and special exhibits going on. I’ve actually tried to get tickets to The Rain Room that is currently on exhibit and it has been completely Sold Out the minute the news got out. I couldn’t believe it, like it is some kind of hot new club that everyone is trying to get into. So when I got the word that they have extended the exhibit until April, I got on the inter as quickly as I could and managed to score a spot in March…a wait away, but still better than nothing.
For those museum buffs that have already seen it, I hear it is amazing so I am super amped up to see it. When I do, I will of course be on Snapchat or Insta to record my experience, but until then, you can check out #therainroom on Instagram to preview its magical wonder. So these light installations at LACMA have been the beacon of many social media posts, engagement photo session sights and I feel obliged to have my outfit memorialized there. Good thing I wore red and black, a stark contrast against the light colored lamp posts. What is your favorite exhibit that you have seen at a museum?

I know that it is so blogger cliche to promote sale items for various holidays, and shopping occasions such as Valentine’s Day coming up, and I have seen quite a few Gift Guides and Wish Lists this and that, so I’ve put together a list of things that I would want to give to MYSELF…if husband is reading this is a hint. Some of the things on there may not be very expensive, but they are practical and cute and I would use everyday. Like this beautiful iPhone case with clear back and gold flower, or this Kate Spade water bottle. Anyways, check them out, what do you have on your wishlist for Valentine’s Day?
