I have been traveling the last few weeks and immediately after we came back PA and Miss K started their new school (which they are still adjusting to). So the time on the road and the emotional stress has taken a toll on my skin and it starts to break out (I’ve even Snaped about the big one on my nose). I also have sensitive skin that scar easily so I’ve been looking for something that can lighten the hyper pigmentation from acne scars as well. I have to admit that when Platinum Skin Care first approached me to try out their product line, I was hesitant because my super sensitive skin doesn’t take new products well. After some extensive research, I have discovered that they have been around since 2001 helping people with various skin care problems including acne scar treatments and solutions for oily acne prone skin and dry skin. Further research, I have found that they are not just an online store but also have a physical brick and mortar storefront with an A+ rating with the BBB. They are also carried by Amazon.com with many good reviews.
So I’ve decided to try out two products that targets my main concern which is acne scars and dark spots. I choose the Fade Bright Lightening – help fights pigmentation putting a damper on complexion with this amazing cocktail of potent – but SAFE – lightening ingredients as well as the High Octane Vitamin C Serum – help to protect your skin from UVA & UVB rays damaging effects. It will stimulate collagen production, improve skin’s tone and texture, improve pigmentation issues and increase elasticity of the skin. Let me share some initial reviews upon using the product for 2 weeks.
The Fade Bright lightening Serum is applied right after face wash, the texture of the serum is smooth and not sticky or greasy and I noticed that my skin feels soft upon application. It is not fragranced so don’t expect any floral smell, this is almost like a medical grade serum. Since the result is best shown after 4-6 weeks, I would probably give a more time before letting you know whether the dark spots have faded. The High Octane Vitamin C Serum has a thicker texture and contains super fine micro beads which dissolves instantly into the skin. There is a label that notes slight tingling sensation would occur, and I definitely experienced said tingling sensation upon application, thanks to the warning, I wasn’t too alarmed. Once you get past the tingling sensation, the skin feels super smooth and soft.
I’ve been using these two products for 2 weeks so it is still too early to see any noticeable results, but I will update after further usage and let you know whether my skin is indeed brighter and the spots lightened up.
