Hi everyone, it is time for another midweek inspo. Are you guys sick and tired of seeing Valentine’s post yet? Maybe it’s me, or perhaps it is the curse of being a blogger and you just can’t getaway from the need to promote every other holidays and sales, I feel fatigued just thinking about Valentine’s. Ironically, today’s inspiration is actually somewhat related. I know that Valentine’s day is also “single’s awareness day”. Though I’ve been fortunate to not spend that day alone, many girls feel the agony seeing all the Valentine’s propaganda plastered across social media.
Why can’t we send flowers and gifts to ourselves? Would it be perceived as pathetic or needy? In a world where women is constantly objectified, and treated unequally, why can’t we stand up for ourselves and show some Self Love? There is no need to wait for a member of the opposite (or same) sex to send us presents when we can treat ourselves and pamper ourselves!! The gifts doesn’t have to be big, small little things such as a cute Coin Purse or Delicate Jewelry that puts a smile on our faces, brightens our day a little would suffice. Enjoy a “romantic” evening by getting dolled up and eye catching with another girlfriend and hit up a beautiful restaurant and then a trendy bar after. Love Yourself!
