Raise your hand if your hair gets all wacky when you travel! I’m sure I’m not the only one that when I travel my hair texture and quality goes down. Our hair, much like our skin need adjustments when put in a new environment. I want to introduce to you guys some of the products and tools that I use either on the road or at home to keep my hair healthy and shiny and what to do in a case of hair-emergency. I’m covering everything from how I take of my hair while I’m sleeping to my go-to hair oil for those dry split ends to my hair styling tools that is also good for my hair. So without further ado, let’s dive in!
Starting With Your Sleep
Having healthy hair starts with not just the obvious products you use like Shampoo, conditioner and such, but it starts with products that benefits it indirectly. One of which is healthy hair while you sleep. That is correct, sleeping on a silk pillowcase can benefit your hair. standard pillowcases can cause damage to hair and facial skin like drying them out. It even twists your hair at the root as you sleep, which causes bed head in the short term and can damage your hair in the long term. Benefits Sleeping on silk may help to: Reduce tugging on delicate facial skin. Reduce sleep crease. Reduce bedhead. Extend your blowout. Hollywood Solution silk pillowcase uses the finest and highest quality silk and is machine washable. It puts the beauty to sleeping beauty.
Another not so obvious way to protect your hair in daily routine is the towel drying your hair. But not all towels are created equal. Typical towel can over dry the hair, tug and rub and stretch the hair strands causing them to break or split. AQUIS Hair Towels and Turbans are made with AQUITEX, an innovative, smooth, ultra-absorbent, friction-free fabric that is extra gentle on hair. AQUIS is designed to wick water away from hair on contact without snagging cuticles or causing friction. This helps minimize the swelling and stretching of hair, protecting its integrity. The result is stronger, healthier, more manageable hair. AQUIS Hair Towels get hair to the damp stage fast and prep it for effortless styling.
What do you tie your hair with? Elastic bands? Fabric hair ties? Until I’ve discovered Invisibobble, I used all kids of hair ties and they all snag my hair when I take it out and with it, a few strands (if not more) of my hair gets stuck and yanked out. Thanks to its smooth artificial surface, the Invisibobble spiral hair ring doesn’t tangle and can be used for wet and dry hair. Formulated Without: – Parabens- Sulfates- Phthalates, the
Hair Foods You Need to Have

I have some Invisibobbles that I received in a beauty box but I tend to use Popbands more. My daughter has really long hair so our house is full of various ties and bobbles! I really need to get a silk pillowcase to keep my hair and skin happy overnight.

Thank you Sheree! Those hair bands look great too, especially for the summer where I want to wear my hair in a ponytail or chignon. I use argon oil too, and as my hair can become dry from daily use of heat.
Ill be checking out some of these items.
