Happy #Friyay everyone!! Did you catch Aiden and Miss K‘s adorable back to school shoes with See Kai Run Shoes? If not, you can see it HERE. Today’s post, we are going to cover the clothes and accessories!! So for all the novice mommies sending their kids to school for the first time, I have to give you a big fat dose of REALITY. They will be so filthy at school that any pretty clothes you are thinking of putting on them? Take pictures for the first 5 minutes and then they will be forever stained by dirt, food, paint and anything else you can think of.
When Aiden first started school, I dressed him up like a little gentleman, posh clothes, shiny shoes and all the glitz and glamour. On the 3rd day, when I picked him up from school, I saw him crawling on the floor at school with a toy car; his Ralph Lauren pants and Polo shirt were grey (they were white). My Snapchat followers knows how big of OCD and clean freak I am and I almost had a panic+heart attack. From then on, I learned my lessons and only buy clothes that can withstand heavy play time for boys. This is when Fab Kids is the perfect choice. They are very affordable yet very stylish. By signing up, you get a set of clothes sent monthly from your pre-selected sets. You can skip a month at any time and cancel at any time. Monthly fee is only $29.95…that is cheaper than a pair of Gap Kids jeans alone, but you get top, bottom and shoes! One less thing for busy moms to worry about!
One surprising thing is that no matter how dirty Aiden gets at school, his Skip Hop lunch bag remains relatively clean and intact. In fact, after two years, he still takes it everyday. I’ve always been a big fan of Skip Hop Zoo collections because they are just so adorable. We have everything from plates, bowls, cups, eating utensils to backpacks and lunch bags… you name it! I just bought the Unicorn one for Miss K to take to school come September since she loves unicorns. They also have seasonal ones like Polar Bear and Panda. These are def kid favorites! Now That I’ve covered the basics, the only question is…how much am I going to cry in September when I send the kids off to school?

So this week we have multiple ties for the Most Clicked on outfits!! Myself, Rachel and Melissa will each be featuring one on our blog. I’m featuring Katie from Hello Katie Girl with her bright colorful outfit contrasted by the super cool and dramatic RETNA murals. I’ve always wanted to pay a visit to that wall and I suppose in the mean time I can just stare at hers. Check out her blog and also see who Rachel and Melissa is featuring.
