Whenever I see a black and white vertical striped blouse I automatically think of referee (I think my husband’s sports watching habit is rubbing off on me), so I’ve always been hesitant to wear the combination. I have seen the style done very well and tastefully on other bloggers and magazine spread so I thought, well why not try it…ya never know.
So When I saw this very affordable piece from H&M I thought it would be the perfect time to experiment with the black striped blouse look. Wearing it with my favorite skinny trouser from Gap and a pair of YSL sky high heels for a fitted work outfit to suite the skylines in Downtown LA.
I have also managed to get my hands on Fall’s new “IT Bag” – Chloe Faye. It has been sold out everywhere and I’m sure you’ve seen it on top fashion bloggers. I have struggled with this purchase for a while but decided to pull the trigger when I found it on Farfetch for much less than they sell it in the states. Now that is a scooooooore!!
