Happy Firday loves! The weekend is upon us…throw confetti’s and pop champagnes! To 95% of the population it is just a typical weekend, but to those who is going to Coachella Music Festival this is probably going to be an epic time of sun, fun and music…oh, and there is LOTS of eye candies. In my last post, I provided some fashion styles tips and trends for festival season (albeit with an older Me’s perspective) and I mentioned that I typically have a pretend Co-chillin’ style this time of the year. So with out further ado, I present to you the outfit I would wear had I planned to go to the music festival.
First, let’s start the dress. I like the idea of a maxi dress with either a slit or sheer overlay details over any bootie shorts and crop top combo. There is something incredibly sexy about being covered up yet showing a little bit of skin. And it is exactly what THIS Dress is about. Sheer panel with high slits. A sheer floral dress looks super fabulous flowing in the hot dessert air, personal preference #justsayin. See below for some of the beautiful dresses I found (some are as low as $28, see whether you can tell a dress is more expensive or budget friendly!
Next is footwear. I know gladiators are super popular, but it is not for everybody not to mention takes a whole lunch time to put it on. Unless your legs are lean and long like Giselle or Kendall or Alexandra, it will tend to look like a laced up sausage casing. One style I find looks super flattering on almost EVERYONE is the Espadrille Wedges and you can find many cute ones at different price points HERE, I mean how super adorable are those Soludos leather espadrilles?!?! They are the most comfortable ones out there by far!! I opt for the suede ankle boots with clear acrylic heels because I like a little element of surprise to an otherwise normal shoes and you all know how much I like a little heel game. See some of my picks for espadrilles and clear heel boots below.
Finally accessories. I am obsessed with tassels as of late, and not surprisingly it is everywhere from shoes to bags to earrings and such. I have round up a few tassel belts below, they are so versatile, you can wear it many styles and length depending on preference. As for bags, nothing is more appropriate than a saddle bag for the dessert. The one I found is from Zara and already sold out, but have no fear, the abundance of saddle bags are dime a dozen out there varying different price points. (Hello Chloe!)
This concludes my personal styling preference on Coachella and festival season styles. Totally, un-apologetically, Posh Classy Mom style. How would you dress for Coachella or music festivals alike? Are you a flower child with all the floras or are you a hippie with flared bell bottoms? Sound off in the comment how you like or don’t like my style (I won’t be offended, I promise).
