I don’t pretend to be a makeup expert. In fact, I’ve stopped wearing make up in general after I’ve had kids. I like the freedom of my kids to be able to smooch my face anytime they want. Whenever, wherever. You all knew my struggle when I did the Halloween makeup as day of the dead and it took over 3 hours. When I have a photo shoot or when I am attending events, I will paint my face before I go out and today I’m going to share my easy natural makeup featuring Bobbi Brown skin long-wear weightless foundation and other products.
This foundation feels creamy and it is more on the thick side as opposed to runny. The consistency is more paste-like but it goes on very smooth and blends super well. I like that there are so many shades to choose from between a natural, warm or cool undertone. It instantly conceals redness, discoloration and pores with full coverage that always looks natural. The weightless formula controls oil and shine while it hydrates
for a second-skin feel. If you really have a big zit to cover, you dab on a little concealer and it really masks all imperfections.
I am not a member of the Kardashian fam, so my highlight and contour skills is pretty much none. I just followed a few of my youtubers on how they apply Bronzer powder around the cheeks for a shadow effect and the face is less pronounced. I like to then dab some of the Highlighting powder on my cheek bones, when I am brave enough to look a little more glam for the evening, I also apply the highlighter has many shades of glow such as the Sunset Glow, the Pink Glow and more. I like the Pink Glow because not only does it give your face that beautiful natural sheen, you also get a little color on your cheeks from the pink iridescent powder.
Next, I like to do my eyes. I have to say that of all the Bobbi Brown products, I like the felt tip eye liner the least. Perhaps it is because I’m still a novice at this liquid liner thing, or maybe I’m just not very good and my hands tend to shake from nervousness, I find the liners are so difficult to participate. I like the results as long as my hands don’t shake and tremble, but I think a felt tip eyeliner may be a better option for me. And finally I apply my signature color – RED on my lips with Bobbi Brown’s Luxe Lip color in Flame. It think when you have a natural face, a bold lips really stand out. And there you go ladies! My simple and easy natural makeup with Bobbi Brown products.
