Happy Friday Everyone!! It is time for Chapter 4 of my Holiday Wonderland, a Holiday Fairy-tale Through Fashion series featuring Top 5 Holiday Dress Trends. We are now counting down the final two outfits of the series leading up to Christmas and I can’t wait to show you all the finally next week.
By now, we’ve covered all 5 trends either in large scale or sprinkled in. In Chapter 4, I’m sneaking in more Metallics via the subtle way of Metallic Strap Sandals. I know many girls out there have mixed feelings about metallics, I don’t blame you, because once upon a fashion time, I was completely against it. I thought the trend was a little tacky and that I would end up looking like a disco ball. However, my view of that has changed since. If you are not big on head to toe metallic, a good way to test the water with this trend is through accessories. I could have easily worn a nude strappy sandal with my Red Dress, however I went with a darker, metallic strappy sandal instead. I also added a delicate wrap layered choker to showcase the neckline. Now without further ado, let’s continue our fashion fairy-tale adventure!
Continued from last week. The Queen of Satin asked the girl to close her eyes and summoned the butterflies to take her to a special place. When the girl opened her eyes, she was on top of a beautiful building made out of mirrors and her outfit has also been transformed into a beautiful sleek gown. She has many questions and hesitations and wasn’t sure if she is ready for this party. But she decided to follow her intuition to search for that special person that can take her back to her world.
The girl walked and walked among the mirrors and it almost as if she has entered into a maze. She couldn’t find the party nor could she find the special person. Frustrated and scared, she wanted desperately to go home, and all the mirrors and reflections is dizzying and distracting. “All I want to do is to go back to my own world and go back home” the girl shouted outloud, “I don’t want to attend this party and I don’t want to be here.” Tired, she leaned against the mirrors and stared at her own reflection.
Suddenly, it became clear to her. The special person she is looking for is right there in front of her…Herself! There is no one else and she needs to find her own way home. Calmer now, she closed her eyes and reflected all that has happened, “This is all a dream, it is all my own imagination” she thinks to herself. She pushes the mirror, it didn’t move, she closed her eyes, concentrated and pushed harder. Something magical happened, her hands went through the mirror. To Be Continued.
Hope you guys enjoy the series so far and please stay tuned next week for the Finale!!!!
