Happy Friday everyone!! As you are reading this, our family is in Oahu enjoying beach, sand and pink sky. If you haven’t seen it it is on my Instastory, I have given a tour for the hotel we are staying at so check it out! Today, I’m going to introduce everyone to a very beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of Hollywood. Once you’ve stayed there, you will not way to stay at any other mundane hotels again. Allow me to walk you through the property in a visual dialogue for Everly Hollywood a Kimpton Hotel.
The Kimpton Everly Hotel gives guests the best of all worlds—a low-key hideout in which to retreat once you’ve experienced enough of the city buzz and a location close to all the star filled action. Located just one block north of Hollywood Boulevard and diagonal from the iconic 13-Story Capitol Records Building. A truly centrally situated hotel, the Everly is conveniently located between the Hollywood Hills (home to Griffith Park, the iconic Hollywood Sign, Griffith Observatory and The Greek Theatre) and Hollywood Blvd where entertainment lovers will find live music and theater options to their hearts’ content, and Hollywood history buffs will be wowed by the star-lined Walk of Fame.
The Everly Hotel does not lack dining options for those that are looking for a trendy and hip place to grab a bite, it has two options to choose from. Jane Q is an elevated casual cafe. The menu runs all day, so just order at the counter and linger as long as you like. But the quality is top-notch, with most ingredients sourced from the nearby Hollywood Farmer’s Market. Choose from clean, crisp cafe fare or heartier entrées like roast chicken and artisan pizzas, fired to perfection in our rotating brick oven. LAMILL coffee fuels a morning work session, while sparkling wine, Aperol spritzes and other light aperitivos provide a perfect way to wind down the L.A. day.
If you just want a drink, there is a lobby bar called Ever Bar, a casually stylish social hub where the neighborhood gathers over drinks and snacks. Ever Bar transforms throughout the day; from laidback living room to social bar scene to all-day work hub and after-hours mecca for fashion, music, and other cultural happenings. Enjoy an eclectic cocktail list with enough variety to satisfy all palates – from our culinary driven Riffs on classics (“Drink your Vegetables” Margarita, “Bone Thighs and Harmony” Millionaire or “Bananas in Pajamas” Scorpion).
If you are meeting someone, there are plenty of beautifully lit common spaces to meet friends, chat and challenge each other with a game of pool. With a captivating style that’s natural and a vibe that’s laid-back, The Kimpton Everly Hotel warmly welcomes parties of all sizes. My personal favorite is the glass-enclosed Conservatory. The blue velvet sofa and large art deco Andy Warhol like art hangings is the perfect place to relax and spend the afternoon with a good book.
Now that we’ve toured the lobby and spaces let’s move to the guestrooms. The Kimpton Everly Hotel offers 216 guestrooms including 12 suites—on the 5th through 15th floors—that are effortlessly inviting. Whether you decide upon the King Spa or Everly Suite, your perfect respite awaits. Relax in the easy comfort of your room while enjoying stunning views that are second to none. The Everly Suite is a One bedroom suite with 1 king bed. It is 728 square feet with direct view of the Hollywood sign and the Hollywood Tower building. I personally love the bathroom with freestanding bathtub that is so old school chic. Get ready for an evening of glamour has never looked so good.
Finally, what is a posh hotel without a spectacular rooftop pool? The epitome of SoCal’s indoor-outdoor scene, The Kimpton Everly Hotel’s fifth floor rooftop pool is stylishly activated from day to night. Adjacent to the pool, is the outdoor lounge area, perfectly situated for the evening events that range from special screenings and chef demos to live music performances. Enjoy refreshing cocktails and light food offerings like avocado-feta dip and chips, pulled chicken pitas, fresh fruit salads, roasted vegetable and mozzarella paninis plus shrimp and preserved lemon flatbreads.
Have I convinced you to stay at the Everly Hotel next time you visit Los Angeles or Hollywood yet? This is not an ad, I simply just adore this hotel and feel super compelled to share with you guys. I’m not getting paid by the hotel to endorse it (although I feel that lifetime free stay would suffice) hahaha. Hope you enjoyed reading this and if you are ever staying there, send me a note and I’ll come over and meet you for a drink in the Ever Bar or the Rooftop bar.
