Happy Friday everyone! I cannot believe how slowly this week is going and finally here we are. You know when you are little, the days go by so slowly, you have to wait forever to get to your birthday or Christmas or a fun summer trip? I feel this way too because I know I’m going to do something fun this weekend (something I have never done before)…so everyday it is like counting down the days. I am keeping my agenda a secret for now, but you will soon find out on my Instastory so make sure you stay tuned.
Speaking of Instagram, have you noticed any changes? Well, I’m experimenting changing the style and edit of my feed. I’ve been having a little creative funk lately, and want to change things up a little. My old Instagram feed is very high contrast, cool temperature, moody-ish modern feel (not quite minimal but on a cleaner side). And I’m slowly injecting subtle colors, warm undertones and grainier overlay. There is a huge flux of orange and red feed made popular by Tezza, but I want to differentiate myself from that because I don’t want to be yet another Tezza themed profile. I want to create something that is inherently my own style, with a new twist. Let me know if you like this new Instagram theme in the comment below.
This week, I did a photoshoot that is more vintage inspired. We took a trip down memory lane to collage days when I used to go to the laundromat with my books and my bag of dirty clothes. I would try to read and study while my clothes were being washed and dried. It has been about two decades since I did that but its always fun to do a little pretending in a photoshoot to remind ourselves how far we have come from our days of innocence and how much we have learned and grown. And with that I wish you all a very lovely weekend!
