Have you heard that Louis Vuitton is currently having an unconventional exhibit in LA called “Louis Vuitton Series 2 – Past, Present, Future.” It is FREE to the public considering how exclusive the brand is. I went to the showcase with Miss K as our first mother and daughter fashion/culture enrichment experience…hey gotta start them young right? **somewhere Husband is letting out a big sigh and rolling his eyes**
I recommend those who is consider going to visit during the week, it is located at a busy intersection of Highland and Santa Monica and parking is street/metered only, you may have to walk a few blocks on weekends. The large space is divided by several rooms that showcases the different stages of Louis Vuitton brand. I don’t want to spill too much beans and ruin the experience for those that is thinking about attending, so I will just show a few of the personal favorite and highlights via photo captions.
Overall, I think this is an extremely well done marketing campaign and branding propaganda for Louis Vuitton. The use of high tech elements such as the hologram Talking Faces and the laser-tastic Trunk Show is futuristic and innovative. The all white Accessories Gallery with the 3D model perfectly highlighted the colorful accessories themselves. The use of 360 mirrors in the Infinite Show is ingenious, you really get a feeling of being in the front row of a real fashion show.
In conclusion, I’m sure LV spent a good amount of money putting on this exhibit and offering it free to the public. If you have the time, do stop by and experience for yourself. Did I mention it is Free?
