Happy Friday guys! I heard this week it snowed in several parts of the country indicating an early winter. Mean while, besides a few cooler days, I have yet to see a single sign of Fall here in LA. We might just skip over Fall entire and go straight into winter after October. Anyways, I keep seeing the continuation of the Plaid trend from last Fall/Winter, it looks like this pattern is here to stay long time and like it or not, you might as well embrace it. I am typically not that into plaid, however when I see a piece that I like, I will buy it.
I found this very cool plaid bomber jacket at a Maje sample sale. Even though the size of this bomber runs a little too big, I decided to get it (after much internal struggle and debate albeit) and I think I made the right call. If you don’t really like plaid coats or jackets, then you might consider the bomber jacket option. It is the cooler cousin of that stuffy blazer, and very easy to style. I paired my dark distressed jeans with a pair of sneakers with the Maje bomber jacket and instantly elevated this casual look.
Because there is a hint of forest green and earthy woody color in this specialty bomber, I brought out my deep forest green Angela Roi bag to wear with this look. I love that this bag can be worn as a hand bag but also come with a strap to wear as a crossbody. Even though my Maje plaid bomber is sold out everywhere, I have listed a few of the budget friendly options that I found on the internet and I hope that you guys like it and don’t mind trying out the Plaid trend with a flare.
Thank you all for reading!
