First of all, how crazy is the #InstagramStories reveal today??!!! Oh my goodness, in case you missed it, you will now be able to share “stories” a la Snapchat on Instagram for everyone to see!! If you haven’t start to follow me on Insta, you can add me @poshclassymom. I think I will be doing more of my day to day makeupless stories on Instagram along with my usual Snapchat posts. Moving on….outfit today is actually recycled from a few weeks ago, you all remember my 90’s Clueless inspired outfit HERE. Well, I decided to modern it up a big and throw in some booties with metallic heel detail for some edge. Amazing how a pair of shoes changes the feel of an outfit isn’t it? I am so glad to see that slip dresses are totally taking the city from red carpet to everyday, even North West is sporting a pink little number.

NOW on to today’s Midweek Inspirations
Je ne sais quoi. A phrase used to describe something that is impossible to put into words, a special French feminine essence. I recently came across an Instagram sensation thanks to Vogue, whose feed takes you on a visual vacation and her style truly can be described as Je ne sais quoi. She is my midweek inspiration today, 54-year old Sofie Fontanel, a Parisian writer and fashion columnist for Parisian publication L’Obs.
Her wardrobe includes an eccentric mélange of vintage pieces, oversize menswear pieces, and the occasional hit of Céline and Gucci, when Fontanel started posting her outre looks to Instagram @sophiefontanel, her “je ne sais quoi style” made her a star. What I love about this French woman is that she nurtures her internal well-being as much as her external beauty. Life is not about impressing others but enjoying herself.
In her interview with Vogue, she said “If you want to be well dressed, you have to learn by watching old movies, by going to the museum, and by surfing on the Internet. Just have a walk on the Internet, and have a look at Marilyn Monroe. She was very well dressed, with simple pants. It is very important to see things other than magazine things. You have to read good books, to read poetry. It’s when you put nice things into your soul that you understand how to dress well.” Can I get an A-men to that!!
