It is time for another installment of Mommy + Me with Miss K since it has been a while that she showed her adorable face on here. This week we are wearing matching stripes and Uggs. Now before you all look at me with disgust and say “Ugh, Uggs?” let me say that for the longest time I have shunned Ugg boots because of its bad rep from celeb overexposure, plus the shape is just not attractive. I mean who would willingly put on a pair of boots that looks like a cast for broken legs?
Then I see kids, baby girls wearing them and for some unexplainable reason, they look a lot better on kids than they do on adults. Perhaps it is the oddly proportioned shape and size of the boots compared with the tiny little body of a 2 year old, but I’ve come around to tolerate those Uggs. I even bought a pair of grey ones to match Miss K. Once I worn them, I actually started to like how they feel on my feet. Miss K always have this excited expression whenever we go out and I pull out her mini Uggs. I think she likes the way it feels on her feet and once they are on she sticks out her leg as if to showcase her little feet.
So I guess never say never to any fashion trends and accessories because you just never know when you will actually turn your opinions on it and actually start to like it. Have you changed your opinion about a fashion trend that you disliked before?
