Happy Monday! Or I would call it Mondaze, the first Monday after any extended vacation is always a daze (especially traveling with two kids). You pray that they don’t get sick and can be sent to school so that you can take a breather and catch up on some nap! Right moms? Well unfortunately it isn’t so here, the kiddos are both sick and I’ll be keeping them home. This post is the first recap of my NYC outfits. We were lucky to have a day or two of nice and warm weather before it got chilly and eventually rainy, so I maximized the opportunity to dress the part.
I’ve always wanted to a street style shoot during our past NYC trips, but unfortunately due to weather and child care constraints, I wasn’t able to. The thought of having city scape in the background and yellow cabs and steam coming out of the subway vents is the epitome of NYC. I’m so glad that this time around I was able to capture some of it and so beautifully by a local photographer. I’ve linked her profile below and feel free to check out her work.
If you keep seeing the same pair of shoes and bag in my outfit posts, that’s because I’ve only packed one pair of heels and one bag that can also be doubled as a clutch for when we go out for dinners. The Louboutins and Gucci GG Marmont bag was perfect. I feel almost like Carrie from Sex and the City, strutting my way around the town. I’ve linked some of my favorite and current Gucci obsessions below (I may have also **cough** purchased one more piece during this trip which I will show in another post).
