Pantene Intense Rescue Shots for Damaged Hair

I have color treated hair. And like many women with color treated hair, my hair tends to be dry, crispy, and difficult to maintain at times. This winter, California had so much unexpected rain followed by days of sunshine and thus creating a flux of weather confusion for my hair. It is when your hair couldn’t respond quickly to the constant change of humidity and temperature and goes in to a manic state of attempted self-regulation. I tried to do hair masks, change shampoo, or even the frequency of my hair wash to try and fix the problem, but had little success. Until I discovered Pantene’s first at-home rescue treatment imported from Brazil.

The new product, Pantene Pro-V Intense Rescue Shots hit shelves in the U.S. in January 2019 and claims to noticeably repairs extreme damage to hair in one use. Ideal for color-treated and heat-styled hair of all types, this new product aims to rescue damaged hair and ensure more great hair days in between professional salon treatments. This immediately piqued my interest and as a long time user and fan of Pantene, I have to check it out.

This single dose-tube of potent repair shots contains a deeply absorbing blend of Pro-Vitamin B5, strengthening lipids and natural glycerin that targets the most damaged areas to give hair the flexibility and resilience it needs to endure styling and environmental stresses. Unlike other hair masks and treatments, Pantene’s Intense Rescue Shots provides deep-conditioning but rinses quickly to avoid weighed-down hair. To use, simply start with washing your hair with your favorite Pantene Shampoo, mine is the new Repair & Protect Shampoo.

Use the Intense Rescue Shots once a week instead of your normal conditioner. Apply onto your hair starting with the roots all the way down to the tips of your roots. Pay attention to where your hair sees the most damage and be sure to target that area and leave it in for 30 seconds. The product was formulated to prevent overdosing so unlike other hair treatments, no need to hold back! Rinse for 30 seconds (don’t over-rinse!) In one use, the Intense Rescue Shots has turned dry, brittle hair into soft, shiny and more resilient
hair.

I can really see a difference after one use because my hair has less flyaways, is noticeably stronger and even with blow drying and curling or straightening, it is still glossy with lots of bounce and movement. Now I can spend less time on my hair in the mornings and feel reassured that many great hair days are ahead.

This is a sponsored review written by me on behalf of Pantene. The opinions expressed are entirely my own.

Thank you all for reading!

Pantene is a good brand. I’ve used them for years but I didn’t know they had these rescue shots. I’ll have to check it out next time I go to the store.
