Happy Black Friday everyone!! Hope you will be doing some major shopping today and score a few goodies. Remember a few posts back when I posted the Top 5 Holiday Dress Trends I’ve mentioned that I have been working on something big? Well, the day is here!! It required some planning and lots of effort but today I’m kicking off my Holiday Wonderland series whereby every Friday until the end of this year, I will be posting a holiday dress guide styled and worn by me featuring one or two of those hot trends.
You will see exactly how these dresses and styles look on me, a petite mom, not some 6 feet long legged giraffe. The main reason I want to put together this dress guide is because as a petite woman, I’m fed up with the same dress on a model look completely different on me. I want to show how a dress look on a real woman. So hopefully this series will provide style inspirations, outfit ideas as well as sizing guide that you may adopt to your own holiday party season. I’m going to tell a Holiday Fairy-tale with Fashion and to start off the series, let’s explore the beauty when Lace meets Velvet.
The story begin with a girl getting ready for a holiday party and when she put on her new burgundy velvet lace up heels she discovered a magical door. Curious by this little door and where it may lead to, she enters it and down the rabbit hole she goes. When she opens the door from the other side, she discovers herself to be in a bright space with lots of large windows.
A little confused, a little scared, and a little excited, the girl approaches the windows trying to see where she is. From afar, she sees clouds in rainbow colors approaching her, closer and closer. She opens the window trying to get a better look; a gust of wind swept in and brought in hundreds and thousands of colorful butterflies.
The butterflies swirled in the air, danced around her and trying to get her attention. “Come with us” whispers the butterflies, “let us take you to an enchanted fashion land”. The girl couldn’t resist the butterflies, they were so beautiful and so vibrant. “I will just go to this Fashion Land for a little bit”, she thinks to herself, “and I’ll be back in time for my Holiday Party.” So she followed the butterflies and so begins her Holiday Wonderland adventure. (To be continued)
How do you like my story telling through fashion idea so far? Do you like this outfit? Are you curious to see more? Leave me a comment and let me know your thoughts!! Make sure you tune in next Friday as we continue our Holidaly Wonderland adventure!
