I was born in the beautiful city of Hangzhou, China. Growing up I knew that my city was special and one of the most beautiful travel attraction in China. Hangzhou used to be the summer vacation home for several emperors because of its perfect location and the weather. Xi Hu (The West Lake) is the focal point of tourist attractions, it is located in the middle of the city, surrounded by mountains and have been listed as one of the 48 World Heritage Sites amongst the Great Wall and Mount Huangshan by UNESCO. There are no words to describe its beauty except the photos themselves and although I am not an expert in photography, I hope you can get a glimpse of the greenery and history of the city though the photos.
It rained a few days while we were there in Hangzhou, but it didn’t stop us from going around the city. The rain actually added a layer of mist and mystery on the lake. Different weather and different hour gives a different aura but no matter what, the city and the lake is and will always be beautiful and serene.
