In the past, whenever I see a gingham print for summer, I feel like rolling my eyes and say “Florals for Spring…How Refreshing!” This print has been around for so long, it pretty much is a basic. I haven’t wore a lot of gingham in my personal styles because I find the print well, Basic! Lately, however I have spotted gingham print among the trendiest styles and shapes, the print basically got a face lift and I took note and interest.
My preference for gingham is black and white given my natural incline to those colors. When I saw this cropped tank with tied shoulder details, I knew that it belongs in my closet, especially when the price is also really friendly. I like to wear cropped top with high waist skirt or jeans, it really elongates my petite frame and adds vertical space. This asymmetric hem skirt can be worn either side or as high-low style. I opted for the later and the silhouette looks so flattering.
If you haven’t read my last post about the hottest bag trend happening right now, you def should HERE. I am totally in love with this ring handle bucket bag that can also be worn as a crossbody. The best part is that this bag is only $58 and comes in black as well. Finishing this black and white look with a pop of color with what else, my green Gucci sandal. You have seen me wear this with another black and white look in the past when I visited The 14th Factory for art exhibit. I’ve always been a fan of throwing a splash of color in a monochrome outfit and this little peek of green is perfect.

Your green Gucci heels are so so so pretty! Love the strappy style and you paired it so well with the gingham top. Loving it!
Gingham has been around for ages but now it looks so much better! I am even considering getting a gingham piece some time soon. It just may be this crop top!
What an elegant way to style a cropped, gingham blouse! I didn’t realize it was cropped before you pointed it out. That’s how well you executed it! The pop of green against that black and white is genius. Such a fun, feminine look!

I’m also so obsessed with that bag too! I can’t believe how affordable it is. I thought it was way more expensive.

Can I just have this whole outfit, please and thank you?? Seriously, I love that top and the straps and how you paired it with white. Looks so great 🙂
Gingham has definitely got a face lift this year and I love the trendy style you picked! I like wearing cropped tops with high waisted skirt as well, plus I love how your paired beautifully two flared items! The Gucci shoes are the perfect finishing touch, with their pop of green. Amazing once again my friend! Baci, Valeria – Coco et La vie en rose FASHION & BEAUTY

Haha, I feel you with the florals, but when it comes to gingham I don’t think it ever goes out of style. Your choice to go with the white skirt and that fabulous bag is just so perfect right now and now summer can come along with full speed! 🙂

It is getting cooler here, but I am still not over gingham. This look you have on of course is so fresh and bright that it makes me wish for that warmer weather again, though, I did manage to run around in a summer dress over the weekend. I love this top! I have a similar one, which I got right at the end of the season, so I will have to work it in with some jeans and a leather jacket to be able to wear it a little longer.

I just saw some gingham shorts and I really want to get them! It’s such a fun print and perfect for summer. I used to think it looked like a picnic tablecloth but now I’m converted!!
I so so love this outfit. I love the ensemble and I will have to copy it.
