Burgundy/Wine color is a fall stable and a hot hot trend right now. There are many shades of burgundy and everyone has their preference, some likes it with a purple hue, while others prefer the reddish undertone. I like them all; I love the dark rich color of red that is oh so vamp and glam. The stores have already rolled out some fabulous pieces of the color, and I’m showing you an outfit I pulled together with a burgundy colored trench from Zara paired with dark gray distressed skinny from Express and my burgundy colored high heels.

Now, I am going to show you some of my favorite burgundy/wine colored clothings, accessories and beauty items I think is worth stealing. Whether it is trench coat or jacket or vest, burgundy outer wear adds a layer of color and sophistication and I adore steals from Forever21 , Topshop and Trouve all under $99). I also love these super cute boho inspired dresses from Nasty Gal under $70 would look super cute with ankle booties.
Shoes wise, you can’t go wrong with a pair of burgundy heels from Charles David or Steve Madden both under $90, slight cheaper than my Ivanka or consider this super cute peep toe bootie from her. Watch the short video below for my review on the burgundy heels, how comfortable they are etc, if you are not sure what to buy.
As for the accessories, I am absolutely obsessed with these burgundy/wine colored fringe bags from Rebecca Minkoff and this chic, modern croc-embrossed clutch and cross-body from Vince. If you are not a bag person, then consider adding a little flare to your wardrobe by wearing a burgundy floppy wool hat on sale for under $20.
Finally, if you rather not go overboard on piling on the color but still want to stay current with the trend, you can go with a touch of burgundy or wine color by sporting a nail polish color or a darker shade of red on your pouty lips for that femme chic look. Essie makes a great color for only $8.50, try Butter London or Burberry if you want to splurge a little. As for the lip colors, Clinique makes a great long lasting soft matte lipstick that won’t dry out your lips. Bobbi Brown or Armani also are great brands with fantastic color options.
